A Power Meter for Your Networks
The APM Power Meter seamlessly integrates with various network configurations, accommodating 1P2W, 1P3W, 3P3W, and 3P4W setups and a frequency range of 45 to 65 Hz. It offers a wide voltage measurement range, ensuring comprehensive coverage from 0 to 600V AC for line-to-line (L-L) and 10 to 300V AC for line-to-neutral (L-N) measurements.
For thorough power consumption analysis, you can get instantaneous measurement across key parameters, including voltage (L-L and L-N), current (L-L and L-N), reactive power (VAr), active power (W), and apparent power (VA). Additionally, the APM Power Meter captures frequency (Hz), power factor (PF), total harmonic distortion (THD), and percentage of maximum load, offering insights into system stability and performance. It also tracks total energy consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh) or kilovoltampere-hours (kVAh).
Easy-to-Read Display Technology
The APM Power Meter’s display combines the best of both digital and analog power meters, making it easy to read even in challenging conditions.
- All-In-One Display: Operators can see a bar graph display alongside digital readouts.
- Two Contrast Options: Order the positive display for bright sunlight, or the high-contrast negative display for indoors.
- Front Navigation Buttons: Quickly navigate screens from the front of the meter.

User Configurable Energy Meter
The APM Power Meter is highly configurable using the APM configuration software. The easy-to-use, free software allows you to tailor the meter to your specific needs.
- Programmable PT and CT Ranges: From 1:1 to 1000:1, users can tailor the meter’s sensitivity to specific voltage levels. For current measurements, the meter covers a range. of 0 – 5A, allowing fine tuning of current measurement sensitivity.
- Configurable Scale & Range: Adjust offset, gain, and min/max range.
- 10 Independent Alarms: Set conditions and actions to meet your requirements.
- Digital Output Delays: Set delays from 0.5 to 120 seconds to ensure accuracy.
- Color Changing Backlight: Configure color and intensity, with flashing or static alerts.
Remote Monitoring
Every APM comes with a free lifetime subscription to Trumeter Cloud so you can remotely monitor the status of your systems. Just add on our plug-and-play APM Gateway to get:
- Customizable alarm conditions and thresholds for notifications
- Unlimited email notifications, plus options to add instant text messages
- Exportable data stored securely in the Cloud

Output & Communications
The APM Power Meter comes standard with 2 digital (opto-isolated) and 1 analog output (4-20mA) for integration with other systems and equipment. It also includes Modbus RTU over RS485 to provide notifications of alarm status and phase angle readings.
