Holiday Giving in the US

Our team members in the United States are distributed across several states, but came together to give back to their communities this holiday season.

In Manchester, Connecticut, turkeys were donated to MACC Charities, a nonprofit organization that partners with individuals in the community that live in extreme poverty. MAAC has been serving Connecticut for over 50 years to help supply food and support to those in need in their soup kitchens, and food pantries. No one is ever turned away and if additional help services are needed, whether medical or emotional, MACC helps with those needs as well.

Also in Connecticut, a monetary donation was given to Connecticut Food Share. Connecticut Food Share supports all individuals and families across the state of Connecticut by distributing food with local partners to alleviate hunger in their communities. The donated food is packaged and delivered to those who are in need by volunteers or can be pricked up in person. The organization was founded in 1982 and is a member of the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks.

In Florida, team members donated to Feeding South Florida, which serves about 25% of people in Florida who suffer from food insecurity. Monies, food, and other items of necessity are donated throughout various locations in South Florida. The food and items are then distributed to partner agencies, food pantries, soup kitchens, group homes, shelters, and childcare centers throughout South Florida communities.

A monetary donation was given to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, which provides education and access to aid in the early detection, treatment, and survival of breast cancer in the US.
