We identified our core company values by brainstorming our personal values and imagining those of our ideal team. We considered carefully before deciding on our final five and took the time to articulate our definition of each one, distilling each down to the concise and authentic statements you see here.

In addition to the definitions, we made the values relatable by identifying tangible behaviors and characteristics to act as a moral compass and guide decision making throughout the business. We then constantly create opportunities to embed the values so they became part of our DNA, not just words on a poster, by having values weeks each year that include themed competitions and group sessions with discussion topics and fun activities related to the different values. An annual employee engagement survey takes the temperature of how relevant our values still are to the team. Over the years we have adapted to the changing business environment, but our values remain unchanged and underpin everything we do.
