Our Commitment to Industry Standards

Our commitment to industry standards goes way beyond legal compliance. Here are just a few of the standards that we operate to.

The Environment

We are committed to the continuous management and improvement of our environmental performance and the prevention of pollution from the activities we undertake. We adopt best practices and have recently:

  • Implemented energy saving technologies and initiatives in our operations
  • Minimized the environmental impacts of business travel
  • Managed waste according to our duty of care; minimizing volumes going to landfill and re-using and recycling wherever possible
  • Purchased supplies which are recycled and recyclable, and whose production and use minimizes the consumption of natural resources
  • Conserved resources by ensuring that buildings and fittings are “eco-friendly” and properly maintained
  • Audited our supply line to ensure that none of our products contain any PFOS or PFOA compounds

We fully comply with the EU REACH, RoHs and WEEE regulations, as well as UN38.3 for the safe transportation of lithium batteries and California PROP 65.

Quality

Quality is at the heart of everything we do at Trumeter. We are ISO9001:2015 certified and operate an effective Quality Management System that ensures all our products & services fully meet our customer’s exact requirements and expectations. We continuously monitor our DPPM (defect parts per million) and are currently operating to world class standards of <200. Our products also have the longest warranties of any in our market.

Product Safety

We operate to the highest product safety standards. All of our products are tested to ensure that they:

  • Protect the user from any potential electrical hazards
  • Prevent the spread of a fire
  • Do not interfere with any other electrical device that may be located nearby
  • Operate in a safe manner

In addition to own internal testing regime, we also work with independent third party laboratories, such as UL, to ensure that our products operate to the highest safety standards.

Ethical Sourcing

We respect and support the protection of human rights and are committed to sourcing goods and services from suppliers that share our values.

This commitment is demonstrated by our efforts to meet all the requirements of the Social Accountability standard SA8000. This international standard is based on the principles of International Human Rights; International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions; the United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Conflict-Free Minerals

We are committed to ensuring that every component we source only contains minerals that have come from ethical sources. We never purchase components from the grey market, nor do we use any components that contain minerals that have come from a Conflict Region. We fully support all efforts to bring an end to the violence and human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We work with all of our suppliers to ensure that all minerals used in the production of our products are “Conflict Free”
