Impact testing is a method used to determine how well a material or product can withstand sudden forces or shocks. It involves applying a controlled force or striking the material to see if it can handle the impact without cracking, breaking, or deforming.

Impact Testing in Action
This video demonstrates a vertical impact test in which a 500-gram steel sphere is dropped directly onto the screen from a 1m height. This height—often 200 mm, 400 mm, or 1,000 mm—determines the energy level of the impact, corresponding to different real-world conditions that the device might encounter.
The purpose of this test is to evaluate a device screen’s ability to withstand sudden, direct impacts without cracking or failing. We set specific impact resistance standards for each product we manufacture. By ensuring the product meets these impact resistance standards, we verify its reliability and resilience for everyday use.
