Pedaling with Purpose: Trumeter Takes on 63 Miles for Charity Cycle Ride

Over the weekend, five determined members of the Trumeter team took on the ultimate test of grit and heart: a 63-mile cancer charity bike ride under blazing 90°F (32°C) sunshine.

The ride wasn’t just a physical challenge, but a demonstration of solidarity and support for The Christie Charity. The Christie Charity supports The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and most respected cancer centers in Europe. The charity raises funds to advance research and technology, aiming to improve treatment outcomes and enhance the quality of life for those affected by cancer.

The journey wasn’t without its hurdles. Between a mid-race mechanical failure and soaring heat throughout the day, the team managed to push through and return safely. We’re inspired by our team’s resilience, generosity, and willingness to go the extra mile—literally—for something bigger than themselves.

Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on. Together, we ride for a better tomorrow.
